"What you focus on expands…..so think about what you want" Andrew Matthews.
(Property Developer… London) To Sue Well what can I say? From a small seed of interest in the advert in the Times, I thought; why not give it a go? After all the introductory session is free. Well that first session was a real eye opener and it's not even mumbo jumbo stuff after all. It's hard to define coaching as how do you define releasing the amazing power of your own potential/ mind? Sceptics want concrete results (as that's what I wanted before), so to them I say, my goals at the beginning were. Yes nothing really, don't get me wrong I had general ideas, but I didn't really know what I wanted and how to go after it. I mean who really does (well me now, but anyway I digress). Then with Sues help I developed goals specific to me, they were . .
So as they say life is a result of small choices, yes' or no's. So what's yours? You will never know unless you try, so go on, I double dare you!!! Paul Fitzpatrick Hi Sue After we finished our session today, I made a cup of coffee and sat in front of the computer, to write the cheque for you (my first action step as I told you). Checking my e mail to confirm your address, I decided to see your site, that until today I had not yet seen, for my surprise what I have read has answered and clarified my doubts. I realised that I don't really need counselling as I have thought lately, in desperation for help. Now I feel that I have done the right thing starting life coaching session with you, because what I need at the moment is direction and action to give myself a greater quality of life that I deserve. I think that together we are going to make it happen. I am feeling that you are a real friend for me now, who is caring and giving to me what I really need. Thank you very much for your understanding, patience with my English, and time. Speak to you on Friday 01.30. God bless you. M V (Management Consultant) I am a 47 year old divorced grandad with three beautiful and healthy grown up daughters. I've been successfully running my own business as a management consultant since 2001 and have good friends and family, enjoy music, restaurants, wine, sports and keep myself pretty fit. I thought I was more or less sorted. I already knew Sue and she told me she had started training as a life coach and she offered me a free first session. I have previously sought limited 'self help' books such as in coping with teenagers and 'seven habits of highly effective people'. So I thought I'd give the life coaching a go - I had nothing to lose. By the end of the first hour I was hooked! I did have a couple if issues that were bothering me and we soon honed in on what I really wanted to sort out. That was quite easy as I'd been struggling with the problems for months. The difference that Sue made was to really make me look at the steps I needed to take to overcome my problems - and to keep them overcome into the future. I was then obliged (motivated!) to take the actions which I (not Sue) had decided on. I believed that what we had discussed in that first hour could solve my problems, and though I thought all of the targets were really too stretching I signed up for the full course. After four sessions I was well on my way to knowing that I could beat those targets which I had thought as stretching. I had planned what needed to be done and was carrying it all out - it was all my idea! I also know that if Sue hadn't facilitated it I wouldn't have done it. P.B. Bramhall (Kitchen Designer) Last October I felt that there was nowhere to turn as I had problems in every aspect of my life. My work, health and financial problems were looming over me. It was over a coffee whilst Sue listened to my problems that she suggested that I should work with her on a life-coaching course to learn how easy it could be to get myself back on track. I agreed as I felt I had nothing to loose. Sue was fantastic, she went through the weekly events of explaining how to break the issues down into areas which become easy to deal with and how if these new rules were used on a daily basis you would basically be able to achieve anything you set out to do. I am still being coached at present but now in two months I have a new job, am planning a wedding in April and my health is finally on track! I would like to thank Sue for her valuable advice and support, which has shone through on all occasions. I have never and would never look back but go forwards and beyond using the coaching techniques, which have been explained to me so positively. I feel like a different person and am looking forward to our wedding in April. Thanks once again Sue for all your help. T.S. (Teacher) I have now completed the full 13 sessions of my life coaching course and am extremely happy to write this testimonial for Sue Lindsay. Sue has taught me so much in my time with her. She has enabled me to see myself from a completely different perspective, to understand what it is I need and want and to know the strategies to use to achieve them both. I have reached all the goals I set in my first session and Sue has made me realise that I deserve to do so. Most importantly Sue has taught me to appreciate my own worth. Sue is a true role model, a wonderful, kind, intuitive mentor. What I have gained from Sue's coaching will always be with me, helping me to reach future goals and encouraging others to reach theirs. I whole heartedly recommend Sue Lindsay as a life coach. J.H. | |
